We covered some interesting tactics and ways of boosting natural SEO. Then we examined two case studies for additional insights:
- Gold Financial Services — Each mortgage banker has access through a content management system to an "About Me" section. We discussed the importance of making the text scannable, using images, sounding like a human being more than a mortgage banker bot, and simply asking for the kinds of clients you want (within regulatory bounds).
- Mortgage Madge — Madge has a rocking good Facebook page, but Facebook puts ever more hurdles between the users who have "liked" the page and Madge's frequent posts. We discussed the importance of sharing useful, sharable content nuggets, asking for reviews and comments and engaging users who comment, to demonstrate to Facebook that Madge's posts deserve broader reach.
